Observing The Flow Of Reality
I remember understanding the concept of "flow" first in relation to martial arts. A strike leads to a block which leads to a strike ... and so on. The movement with the highest efficacy tends to all share common connective tissue. Even a very violent staccato pattern with little or no apparent connection (at least in the classical sense of the idea) has a flow. It moves with a logic.
Every movement has life, lives in it's unique space and time, and then flows on to the next. It's incredibly efficient. For whatever reason, on a quantum level the very matter of reality is designed to flow, even though it appears random. There is some intangible quality of essence that binds the material. To connect, to create. To move.
I find this a fascinating concept and love observing it in my daily life. It's comforting and beautiful.
Life is motion. Creativity is life.
Very cool.
